I took two brief walks today. I have a desk job and I use the computer recreationally. I don’t move a whole lot, and my body is paying the price. When I do want to move, on our weekend adventures, I find it a lot harder than it used to be. Sure, we naturally slow down, but there are people 20 years older than me running circles around me. I’d laugh, but … No….
So, I am prioritizing walking at the cooler hours of the day with my pups and if I can be persuasive enough, my husband too. Just these little breaks of walking in my neighborhood today gave me so much energy and it broke up the monotony of the everyday grind. I’m feeling great.
